Greater Good Mission
We’re Here for You Too
Greater Good is a fashion brand but our main intent is the message we wish to spread to you.
We encourage our consumers as well as our supply chain to embrace their truest self, to take inspiration and be a part of nature, to use and not abuse the blessed resources provided to us by Mother Nature herself.
Earth is a beautiful space, its our 1st home.
It is our duty as its member to protect it together.
Fashion being the second most polluting industry after oil, causes immense harm to our home. The textile industry is forced to dump unsold goods, fabrics and materials each year in tons. When we multiply that by tons of brands it’s a lot of tonnes !!
However, one brand at a time, one purchase at a time, we can, create a better space.
We can be The Greater Good
It is indeed a long journey but step by step, you and us can create a positive impact.
We can start using natural products which are better for both our home and our body. Skin is our biggest organ and research has found that our body can actually absorb the chemicals used in our clothes.
Wear Better, Spend Better, Breather Better, Feel Better!
Walk life in its purest form with confidence, elegance and pride.
All our garments are made using simple construction process to make sure our garments can be dressed up and down depending on your occasion.
The Greater Good Community has been established in order to take this mission forward. It needs your support – Join us Today, You are the Greater Good.
Our Mission
Lets not just talk, lets take action. Action towards a safer, greener and greater society.
Let’s do things in our everyday lives to create change.
If not today, it’s never.
Your purchase makes a difference.
Your purchase gives back.
Lets create a circular system , you and me, one apparel at a time.
Sustainability Practices
Ethical Practices
If you’re wondering why plastic based clothes are sold so cheap, well they’re not, someone somewhere has paid for it.
Harsh working environments, unfairly low wages, forcing long working hours, forcing young children, cutting costs incase of minor damages or even illness is everyday practice in the non slow fashion apparel industry. We are sure, you know too
Greater Good is strongly against such practices and uses principles of morality, being fair and right to all. We respect all races and genders, treating our entire supply chain fairly and rightly.
Our supply chain is transparent, ethical and our slow fashion suppliers are based in India. Our garments are hand-made by skilled craftsmen and machinists.
At greater good, every purchase made by you, is a stronger step towards making the textile industry a better place to believe in.
We strongly follow and apply principles of Slow Fashion and hope you do too
Packaging
Greater Good uses a zero waste approach in every step of our process. For our packaging we strongly use and encourage our consumers to reuse every layer. We have invested in seed paper packaging so that you can further plant it and invest in a green future with us.
Please make sure, you plant the seed paper , water it optimally daily, place it in optimum sunlight and voila ! You’re on the path towards the Greater Good.
P.-S – Send us a picture of your Greater Good Plant and gain access to our Exclusive Offers, Programs and Community Channels.
The cloth covering is made of leftover fabrics from our production process to avoid them from ending up in the landfill. This covering can be reused to store and keep your garment cool and protect it.
Our mailers are completely compostable and can be used more times after the product has reached you. Seed paper is our way to encourage you to be a part of The Greater Good.
Planting instructions:
-Plant your seed paper in the evening
– Sprinkle some water on to seed paper to make it wet before planting
– Make sure the pot has soil
Tear the seed paper into smaller pieces and scatter them throughout the pot (don’t plant too deep)
– Lightly cover with soil on top water as required
– Can use natural fertilizer or homemade compost for bloom
Send us an image of your Greater Good Plant and reap the benefits away
Cheers to a better future!

Dyes and Prints
We use azofree and natural dyes for all our fabrics. All the raw materials sourcing is done through different rural areas in India and not large tradesmen or fabric suppliers. We believe in encouraging local craftsmanship and empowering our rural yet richly talented resources.
Azo dyes contain one or more azo groups and constitute to the most important class of synthetic colouring matter, that is about 70%.
It’s nature does not allow it to break down during the disposal process, that’s why we choose to work with azo free dyes even if our options can get a little thinner. Azo free dyes are not only skin safe for adults but also the best for children besides being eco friendly too.
Unlike synthetic dyes, natural dyes do not get absorbed by our skin to cause irritation and allergies.
Natural dye has been practised all around the world since a long period of time .It is biodegradable and renewable in nature . These dyes are very nature centric as the pigments are extracted from roots, barks, leaves, flowers, fruit, seeds and contain colourants like tannin, flavonoids etc
This unpredictability gives the garments a unique and soothing look. Natural dyes are safe for skin and do not leave any hazardous and toxic chemicals that are later absorbed by the body. Some natural dyes also enhance with age.
We take inspiration from the environment at each stage.
The use such plants for our processes is also season dependant thereby respecting the patterns and channels of our ecosystem
We use onion skin, pomegranate, rose , marigold etc as colourants.
Eco printing is a natural process of dyeing fabrics and creating unique designs using leaves and flowers by carefully placing them upon the fabric and tightly wrapping them, boiling them together for transfer of natural pigment and the intricate structure upon the fabric.
The design depends on the structure and nature of leaves or flowers and the fabric
We use this technique to respect both leaves and fabric and truly captures the essence of nature
Such natural dyes gives all of our garments a unique touch of nature
We use already fallen leaves and flowers to craft a new design for your garments and gives them a further purpose
Collections: Less is More
We launch limited pieces in every drop to avoid over consumption, gg pieces are timeless and are made to last
Our fabrics and apparel being handmade are also produced on a small scale
